Plants need sunlight to grow and stay healthy. They use a process called photosynthesis to make their own food. During this process, plants take in light, water, and carbon dioxide to create energy. They also release oxygen, which is essential for humans and animals to breathe. Without plants, life on Earth would be very difficult. We should protect our green environment to keep our planet healthy.
